Privacy Policy
A plain-language explanation of what data NewsTVseries does and does not collect.
This is a plain-language draft and will be reviewed before launch.
NewsTVseries is a new, independent TV entertainment magazine in its launch edition. We want our privacy practices to be as easy to understand as a good recap. This page explains what happens to information when you visit the site.
No accounts
You cannot create an account on NewsTVseries, and we do not ask for your name, password or payment details. There are no logins and no member profiles.
What is stored in your browser
Some features remember your choices using your browser's local storage. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. It may include:
- Your light or dark theme preference.
- Shows you add to your watchlist.
- An email address you type into the newsletter box, so the field can remember it.
- Your picks in quizzes and polls.
- Reactions you tap on stories.
You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data. Because it is stored only on your device, we cannot see it, recover it or delete it for you.
Third-party services
To display the site, your browser loads some files from other companies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, styling is loaded from the Tailwind CDN, and placeholder images are hosted by a third-party image service. When your browser requests these files, those providers may receive and log technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page that made the request. Their own privacy policies govern that information.
No analytics yet
We do not currently use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies. If we add any in the future, we will update this policy first and explain what is collected and why.
Emails and forms
Forms on the site, such as tip and contact forms, do not send data to our servers. Instead, they open your own email app with a pre-filled message. Nothing is sent until you press send in your email app. When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message, and we use it only to reply and to handle your request. Our newsletter is coming soon and is not yet sending emails.
Children
NewsTVseries is a general-audience magazine and is not directed at children under 13.
Questions and changes
If you have questions about privacy or want us to delete an email you sent, write to [email protected]. We may update this policy as the magazine grows and will note the date of any changes on this page.
