The NewsTVseries Podcast

We love talking about TV almost as much as we love watching it, so a podcast feels like a natural next step. To be completely clear: The NewsTVseries Podcast has not launched. There are no episodes, no feed and nothing to subscribe to yet. This page explains what we are planning so you know what to expect.

The Planned Format

Our working idea is a relaxed, fan-to-fan show of roughly half an hour to forty-five minutes. A rough outline of a typical episode might look like this:

• The Week in TV. A quick roundup of premieres, renewals and cancellations worth knowing about.
• The Main Event. A deeper conversation about one show, usually something we have recapped, with a clear spoiler warning before we dive in.
• Theory Corner. One fan theory, taken seriously, picked apart lovingly.
• The Binge Pick. One recommendation to close out the episode, chosen to be spoiler-safe.

Spoiler-heavy segments will always be flagged at the start so you can skip ahead. If we ever cover a show you have not finished, you will hear about it before anything is revealed.

What We Are Still Figuring Out

Plenty. How often we release, who hosts, whether we take listener questions and where the show will be available are all still open. We would rather launch late and sound good than launch early and leave you with dead air. We will not announce guests, partners or release dates until they are confirmed.
