How to request permission to reuse NewsTVseries stories, how to quote us, and what you cannot reuse.

We are glad when people want to share what we write. This page explains how to quote NewsTVseries fairly, how to ask for permission to reuse our work, and what is not available for reuse. NewsTVseries is a new, independent publication, and this is our launch edition, so our licensing process is simple and handled by email.

Quoting us

You are welcome to quote short excerpts from our stories for commentary, criticism, news reporting or discussion without asking first, as long as you:

  • Keep the excerpt short, a sentence or two rather than whole paragraphs.
  • Credit NewsTVseries clearly by name and, where possible, link to the original story.
  • Do not change the meaning of what we wrote or present our opinions as facts.
  • Keep spoiler labels intact if you quote from a spoiler story.

Please remember that launch-edition stories are illustrative and fictional. If you quote one, make that clear so nobody mistakes a fictional show or quote for real news.

Requesting reuse

For anything beyond a short quote, such as republishing a full story, translating it, using it in a newsletter, book, course or video, or adapting it in another format, please ask first. Email [email protected] and include:

  1. The headline of the story or stories you would like to use.
  2. How and where you plan to use them, and for roughly how long.
  3. Whether the use is commercial or non-commercial.
  4. Your name, organization and the best way to reach you.

We review each request individually. Permission is only granted in writing, and silence should not be taken as approval.

Images and artwork

Images in the launch edition are placeholder artwork. They are used to show how the magazine will look, they are not owned by NewsTVseries in a way that lets us license them to you, and they are not licensed for reuse. Please do not copy, download or republish them. The same applies to our logo and visual identity, which may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership.

Corrections and takedowns

If you believe something we published uses your work without permission, please email [email protected] with details, and we will look into it promptly. For factual corrections, write to [email protected].
