About NewsTVseries
A new, independent TV entertainment magazine made by fans, for fans, with a spoiler-safe promise.
NewsTVseries is a brand-new, independent TV entertainment magazine. We exist for the people who stay up for one more episode, who have a group chat dedicated to a single cliffhanger, and who treat renewal season like a sporting event. We are not owned by a network or a streamer, and we are just getting started.
This is our launch edition
You are reading the launch edition of NewsTVseries. To show you how the magazine will look and feel, we have filled it with illustrative stories. Every show, network, character, showrunner and quote in this edition is fictional, and each story is labelled "Illustrative / Launch edition" so there is never any confusion. Think of it as a pilot episode: the format is real, the cast is imaginary, and the full season is on its way.
What we cover
- Premieres and renewals: what is coming, what is coming back, and what got the axe.
- Recaps: episode-by-episode breakdowns written for people who watched and want to talk about it.
- Spoiler breakdowns and fan theories: the deep dives, the wild guesses and the clues hiding in the background of a scene.
- Binge guides: where to start, what to skip, and how many snacks you will need.
- Interviews and craft: how writers, directors and designers build the shows we love.
Our bright pop-editorial approach
We think TV coverage should feel as fun as the shows themselves. That means bold colors, big headlines and a voice that sounds like your smartest, most enthusiastic friend. It also means being careful. Bright does not mean careless: we label opinion as opinion, we correct mistakes openly, and we never invent numbers to make a story sound bigger. Our binge scores and buzz meters are our editors' opinions, not measurements.
The spoiler-safe promise
Nobody should have a finale ruined by a headline. Stories that discuss major plot points carry a clear spoiler label and open with a warning before anything is revealed. Headlines and previews stay spoiler-light, and we wait a sensible amount of time after an episode airs before putting big reveals front and center. If we ever slip, tell us and we will fix it.
What is coming soon
Our newsletter, podcast, viewing club and discussion threads are all coming soon. We would rather launch them properly than rush them out half-finished. In the meantime, you can say hello at [email protected]. We read everything, and we would love to hear which shows you want us to cover first.
