After months of rumors and speculation, Ryan Garcia was finally hit with a suspension on Thursday for failing several drug tests with a banned substance. And there was no one happier to hear the news than Devin Haney.
Haney has been clamoring for a suspension ever since word got out that Garcia had tested positive. He finally got what he wanted, but the one-year ban still isn’t enough of a punishment in Haney’s eyes.

In an interview with Title Sports Network, Haney gave his harsh thoughts on it.
I think he should’ve been banned for even longer. I think he should be banned from boxing. And I think he should’ve been fined even more.

I think he should’ve been banned for even longer. I think he should be banned from boxing. And I think he should’ve been fined even more.
Haney didn’t stop there either. He’s even planning to sue Garcia, claiming that the loss in April has affected his financial ceiling.
It’s a bold claim from Haney, but there is some truth to what he’s saying. As if Garcia wasn’t down bad enough, Haney seems intent on making his life a living hell for the foreseeable future.
