Tyson was pictured with Ronaldo Nazario

Mike Tyson is one of the most recognizable figures in sporting history, and he has legions of fans on social media as a result.
Whilst many were left disappointed by his return to the ring being delayed due to a health scare, they still flocked to his Instagram when it appeared he had been spending time with an equally recognizable legend… Ronaldo Nazario.
The pair share a lot in common: both are considered legends in their sports, have millions of fans worldwide, and were the best at what they did.
Naturally, when ‘Iron’ Mike shared a picture of them together, it was an instant hit with fans.
“El Fenomeno with Iron Mike,” Tyson captioned under the aforementioned picture.
This simple caption didn’t fully capture the greatness of the moment. Ronaldo, in his prime, led Brazil to two World Cup titles in 1994 and 2002.
He also won three FIFA Player of the Year awards in 1996, 1997, and 2002 before retiring in 2011.
On the other hand, Mike Tyson began his professional boxing career at 18 and bulldozed through his first 19 fights to become the youngest heavyweight champion in history. He retired in 2005 but remains one of the most popular figures in boxing.
Legends
Combining their followers on Instagram, Ronaldo and Mike have over 60 million followers worldwide.
The comment section filled up rapidly. One user compared today’s athletes in boxing and soccer with those from Tyson and Ronaldo‘s generation, suggesting that legends were different back then.
“Look at boxing now, look at football now, legends were different back then…” the user stated.
“Hey man, it looks like Ronaldo smoked something with you,” another user commented.
