It is official, the IBF forced Oleksandr Usyk to vacate his IBF belt after less than a month from beating Tyson Fury

Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse the current situation that has been unfolding over the last month with Oleksandr Usyk. Apparently, the IBF won the appeal from Usyk and his team to maintain his IBF Heavyweight championship belt because of the urgency for the division to remain active. This opens up a whole new opportunity for both Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois. Both British fighters are expected to clash on September 21st at Wembley Stadium but they were waiting for this resolution to pass. Naturally, this is already being regarded as an unfair move from the IBF because Oleksandr Usyk beat Tyson Fury fair and square for the unification heavyweight title. the man himself was th one who made the announcement on his social media and he seemed disappointed.

It happened through a video on his social media acounts, Oleksandr Usyk was not happy to announce thathe is officially vacating the IBF belt against his will. Once he gets a chance to fight the rematch against Tyson Fury, their fight won’t be for the unification belts because of what just happened here. But at the end of the day, Usyk didn’t seem happy but he was gracious to leave the vacant belt forboth Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois to fight in September 21st. After Usyk’s announcement, the head of the IBF was the one who confirmed this information about the belt. Now we will get to have a fight for a title between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.
