For some science fiction fans, this Thanksgiving not only marked a celebration of fall food and turkey. The holiday coincided this year with the release of the first part of “Stranger Things” Season 5, the final season of the beloved show that premiered almost ten years ago.
The drop included the first four episodes of the season, which came over three years after the release of Season 4 in 2022. While the four episodes could be considered long − Episode 1 is 68 minutes, Episode 2 is 54 minutes, Episode 3 is 66 minutes, and Episode 4 is 83 minutes − some fans choose to watch season releases in a single sitting, often called “binge watching.”
