Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton have warned fans not to watch the upcoming season of Bridgerton with their grandparents.
Appearing on Australia’s The Sunday Project this weekend, the co-stars spilled on their love scenes in the third series, where their characters, Penelope and Colin, explore their budding romance.
‘Ah, please don’t watch it with your nan!’ Nicola told the show’s host after being asked how spicy those scenes get.
‘My mum watched some the other day and I skipped a sizeable chunk of it. Maybe if you give them Bailey’s before it might be fine’ she added with a laugh.
‘We would not watch it with our nans, I think. Not going to happen’ Luke chimed in.

‘We don’t want to do it. We have seen it now and that makes us go, absolutely not!’ Nicola agreed.
‘It is very romantic this season. It’s fun to play out the story finally. Fans have waited a long time to see their friends to lovers (storyline) play out’ Luke added.
The pair walked the red carpet at the Australian launch of Bridgerton season three in Bowral, NSW earlier on Sunday.
The Irish actress opted for a sparkling black gown as she posed alongside co-star Luke Newton on the grounds of Milton Park Country House.

The dress included a plunging neckline that showed off lots of bust and flared skirting that added a romantic silhouette.
Subtle sparkles throughout the gown caught the light and the dress sat off the star’s shoulders, offering a hint of skin.
Luke made a dapper appearance, the affectionate pair holding hands as they posed side by side.
He opted for a beige trench over a semi-sheer cream shirt and wide-cut slacks that matched his coat.
