Rihanna is defending her title of Most Iconic Pregnancy Announcements. The multi-hyphenate just revealed she and longterm boyfriend A$AP Rocky are expecting baby number three at the 2025 Met Gala.

Congratulations are in order for the happy couple who broke the news ahead of the prestigious fashion fundraiser. The singer showed off her bump in a monochromatic grey ensemble while arriving at The Carlyle Hotel before the event. Rihanna wore her ribbed quarter zip sweater slightly pulled up to display her growing belly.

The world will remember the “Diamonds” singer used the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show stage to reveal she and A$AP Rocky were expecting baby number two, a son named Riot. Riri debuted her bump while wearing a firetruck-red bodysuit. She put her bump front and center again at the 2023 Met Gala in a trailing, all-white Valentino gown. Riot was born a couple months later on August 1, 2023, in Los Angeles.

The musical pair took a more low-key approach when it came to their first child. They announced they were expecting after the Fenty founder was spotted with her bump on display during a casual stroll through New York City. Their eldest son, RZA, was born on May 13, 2022.

Rihanna gushed about her man and their big, happy family during an April 2024 interview with Interview magazine. “When someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling,” she said. “I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.”

The Home star also said at the time that she wasn’t opposed to having a third baby. “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
