When the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight was announced, most fans couldn’t help but be taken aback by the fact that Tyson will be 58 years old when the event takes place. It seemed split down the middle with half of fans thinking that Tyson will destroy Paul, while the other half believe Tyson’s aging body makes this dangerous for him.
With the fight nearing, Tyson has impressed many with his training videos. He looks to be in great shape for his age and can still deliver serious punching power. But it took a long road to get back to where he is today.

Tyson recently shared the backstory of his battle with sciatica, which causes severe pain, weakness and numbing from the back down to the leg.
It’s a miracle because I didn’t know what was going to happen with my life. I was scared I was gonna be in a wheelchair the rest of my life. You get so discouraged… when your back hurts, there’s nothing I can do, I’m useless.
Tyson was seen in a wheelchair several times over the past few years leading into late 2023. He then began treatment with Dr. Abhinav Gautam of RELIEF, and his symptoms seemed to completely vanish.
That allowed him to consider some type of return to the ring. Now, he’s getting ready to face a dangerous and much-younger boxer
