Family Fortunes’ replacement in the TV schedules has been revealed after the game show was pulled from our screens amid major controversy regarding Gino D’Acampo.
The popular ITV gameshow, which hit our screens in 1980, has been presented by the Italian chef since 2020.
In recent months Gino, 48, has faced a string of accusations of inappropriate behaviour towards women – which he has denied.
And now, instead of airing Family Fortunes on a Sunday night, Stephen Mulhern‘s Celebrity Catchphrase will be on instead.
This will come into play this Spring after ITV made the decision not to air the shelved series of Family Fortunes.
ITV commissioner Gemma John-Lewis confirmed to TV Zone: ‘We’re delighted to announce a further series of the much-loved family favourite, Celebrity Catchphrase.
