‘Tank’ Davis will put his WBA lightweight title on the line against Frank Martin this Saturday, June 15 in Las Vegas
The fight between Gervonta Davis and Frank Martin for the World Boxing Association (WBA) lightweight championship is just two days away.
That’s when, Saturday, June 15, these two fighters will put their undefeated records on the line at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
They are two old acquaintances, as both were members of the sparring team of former champion Floyd Mayweather, so we should expect a good fight. Things have already begun to heat up in the face to face they held this Wednesday, in which ‘Tank’ said that his opponent “is a mediocre boxer”.
The card will also have an additional attraction, with the fight between David Benavidez and Oleksandr Gvozdyk, for the WBC interim light heavyweight title.

So although there is no official amount, being a PPV fight that also has the attraction of David Benavidez vs Oleksandr Gvozdyk, the purse could be around $10 million again, being one of the going rates for boxing at this time.
Meanwhile, it is known that Frank Martin turned down $1 million to fight Shakur Stevenson, and his earnings for the fight against ‘Tank’ Davis will be just above, said to be around $1.25 million, with a possible bonus for the PPV.
