Fighter branded ‘Toughest white guy on the planet’ by Mike Tyson calls out John Fury for fight after headbutt incident
John Fury has been called out for a boxing match following his actions this week.
John Fury has been called out by a man once called the ‘toughest white guy on the planet’ by Mike Tyson following his ‘headbutt’ on a member of Oleksandr Usyk’s team.
Fury, the father of boxing icon Tyson Fury, sparked outrage when footage emerged of him ‘headbutting’ a member of Usyk’s entourage following a confrontation.
More footage circulating on social media showed the 59-year-old bleeding from the head following the incident.
“I live for this f***ing s***,” he screamed at the camera while chanting “Fury, Fury, Fury.”
There has been significant backlash online and Fury has even been called out by Joe Egan, who has previously been dubbed the ‘toughest white guy on the planet’ by Mike Tyson.
“Tyson said, ‘Joe Egan is the toughest white man on the planet,’ I wasn’t – I was just the toughest white man in the gym that day,” Egan said after sparring with Tyson.
Egan previously called out his ‘friend’ John Fury for a fight in January, but following Monday’s episode of violence, his tone has changed drastically.
The former Irish heavyweight shared a video on X, slamming Fury’s actions and challenging him to a fight.
“I believe you’ve all seen the conduct of this lowlife, bully boy, thug John Fury today,” Egan firmly stated.
“I want to take this chance to apologise on behalf of the boxing world to the Saudi Royal Family, the people of Saudi Arabia who have welcomed the Fury family into their wonderful country. Also to the people of Ukraine for the conduct of this scumbag.
“I would take great pleasure in smashing this man to bits, if he ever has the courage to step into the ring with me,” Egan challenged.
Egan had 16 professional fights winning 13, but interestingly none of those wins came via knockout.
“The world wants to see manners put on this man, and I am the man to do it. The week of your son’s biggest fight John, and you conduct yourself like this,” Egan added.
