Nate Diaz is one of the few men who has been up close and personal with Jake Paul in a boxing ring.

The UFC legend took on Paul in a cruiserweight crossover boxing match in Dallas, Texas on August 5 2023. The fight saw the 26-year-old Paul beat the 38-year-old mixed martial artist by unanimous decision after the conclusion of 10 rounds after scoring a knockdown in the fifth.

Diaz has long called for a rematch, perhaps in the octagon, but Paul has moved on and since secured three more knockout wins over Andre August, Ryan Borland and Mike Perry. The former YouTuber was even told recently by the WBA President Gilberto Mendoza that he could be in line for a legitimate ‘championship’ shot against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Speaking to Inside Fighting, Diaz was asked who he thinks will win when Paul takes on the once youngest-ever heavyweight champion in Mike Tyson, and initially joked that he didn’t care.
