aul stopped Perry by knockout on July 20

Jake Paul

Jake Paul challenges the UFC’s Light-heavyweight champion after stunning the crowd with the latest knockout win of his professional career ahead of his November fight against Iron Mike Tyson.

A flurry of punches sent Mike Perry to the canvas for the third time in their Saturday, July 20 bout and even though he rose back to his feet, the referee waved it off in the sixth round and Paul didn’t waste any time calling out his next opponent.

Chaos unleashed in Jake Paul’s locker room before Mike Perry fight

Alex Pereira, you say you want to box, I’m the king of this,” Paul said after the fight. “Come over. We can make it happen. I want you, Alex Pereira.

“I just beat a BKFC champion. I’ve beat multiple UFC champions. He said he wants to box. So, Alex Pereira, after Mike Tyson, let’s make it happen.”

Pereira, 37, recently appeared at UFC 303 in the absence of Conor McGregor to stop Jiri Prochazka and earned his 11th MMA win and 45th of his career, which spans across professional boxing and kickboxing too.

The Brazilian fighter has already responded to Paul‘s disrespect, and he is very enthusiastic about the potential match-up as he posted, “Let’s go!! Chama” online.

Paul calls out Tyson again

The pair were even spotted FaceTiming after the bout as they continued to trade insults ahead of what would likely be the second-toughest fight of Paul‘s career after facing Tommy Fury in 2023, when he lost via split decision.

Since that night, Paul has won four fights in a row and is now preparing to face Mike Tyson at the AT&T Stadium on November 15 after their initial fight was postponed due to an ulcer flare up for the ex-undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, who is now 58.

“Mike Tyson, you’re next big boy,” Paul said. “Sign the contract, 15 November on Netflix. 100 percent, it’s happening.

“He’s training and looking crazier than ever, Netflix, I’ll prove everybody wrong. Everybody said I was making a mistake with this fight [against Perry], but I take risks.”
