Tyson Fury’s classified documents rank heavyweight opponents from ‘big dosser’ to ‘friend’ in the tier list including Mike Tyson
Tyson Fury has ranked over 20 heavyweights and he clearly isn’t fond of Anthony Joshua.
The ‘Gypsy King’ has crossed paths with some of the leading fighters in the division during his time in the boxing ring, and will next face Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed world titles in Saudi Arabia on May 18
Ahead of the showdown, Fury took part in a fun sketch where he ranked a whole host of names from the star-studded weight category featuring the likes of Mike Tyson and his rival Usyk.
The final rankings saw Fury’s bitter rival Joshua placed in the ‘Big Dosser’ category alongside the WBC champion’s three-time opponent Deontay Wilder and Wladimir Klitschko.
Fury is yet to face AJ, but has two wins over the ‘Bronze Bomber’ as part of their trilogy, while he beat Klitschko in a breakout career moment overseas in 2015.
In the category of which Fury is the biggest fan, he placed heavyweight legend and namesake Tyson, who will face Jake Paul in a surprising return this summer.
The 57-year-old was joined by sparring partner and long-term ally Joseph Parker, and Queensberry stablemate David Adeleye.
Fury surprisingly listed upcoming dance partner Usyk in the ‘respect’ category as he continues to have an altered stance on the champion whom he came to loggerheads with in the past.
The Ukrainian is joined by a whole host of names including former rivals Derek Chisora, Francis Ngannou, Dillian Whyte, Tom Schwarz and David Price.
Martin Bakole, Filip Hrgovic, Joe Joyce, Jarrell Miller, Vitali Klitschko and Fabio Wardley made up the rest of the category, with Fury having yet to face these famous faces.
Rounding off the light-hearted rankings was David Haye, Otto Wallin and Tony Bellew who were ranked as a ‘dosser’ by Fury, one below his arch rivals.
It is no surprise that Joshua ranks above Usyk on his list, given the pair have been rivals for several years and have squabbled over the reasoning to why their showdown is yet to materialise.
His upcoming test against the Ukrainian sees him look to cement his name in the history books by becoming the first undisputed champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.
Fury has previously branded his opponent a ‘middleweight’ and suggested that the size gap between the pair will be a huge factor,
But the 35-year-old has since acknowledged the skill set of his foe and assures fans he has ran through walls to prepare for the showdown.
He said during an interview with Queensberry Promotions: “Oleksandr Usyk’s a real bad man and to underestimate Usyk you’d be a mug.
“So I’m training hard for him, I’m doing everything I can.
“I respect Usyk as a man. I respect his career as well – Olympic champion, undisputed cruiserweight champion, unified heavyweight champion.
“You have to respect that, I’m fighting the real deal. I’m looking forward to the challenge.
“He’s got good footwork, good boxing ability, technically sound.
“He’s proved he can mix it with the big heavyweights because he’s beat Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois. I’m messing with an elite fighter.”
