Here’s what we expect to see in part 2 of Bridgerton season 3.

The first four episodes of Bridgerton season 3 have left fans ravenous for more, eager to see where the relationship between Penelope and Colin develops next. Below, we’ve listed some of what we expect to see from Part 2 of Season 3 of Bridgerton.

After two years and what felt like forever, Briderton returned for its highly anticipated third season. Surprising many, the third season saw Bridgerton adapt the fourth entry in Julia Quinn’s novel, Romancing Mr. Bridgerton, which focuses on the romance of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton.

For at least one season, Benedict’s romance has been pushed back for now!

Part 2 of Bridgerton season 3 lands on Netflix on Thursday, June 13th, 2024.

Colin discovers Penelope is Lady Whistledown

After Lady Whistledown’s comments about Colin, the third eldest of the Bridgerton sons, he made it abundantly clear that whoever Lady Whistledown is, he will ruin their life.

Unbeknownst to Colin, Penelope Featherington, his lifelong friend and the woman he has fallen in love with and just proposed to, is Lady Whistledown. Before Penelope can marry Colin, she will likely have to reveal her identity as Ton’s critic and gossiper.

This will undoubtedly cause strife between the pair and threatens to ruin the relationship entirely. However, in the end, that won’t stop Colin and Penelope from eventually marrying.

Violet Bridgerton courted by Marcus Anderson

Since Lord Bridgerton’s death, his widow, Violet Bridgerton, has yet to find a new man. With the lack of available suitors and helping her children navigate society, Violet has had little time to look for love or fun. However, there is a mutual attraction between Violet and Lady Danbury’s brother, Marcus Anderson.

While Lady Danbury worries about Marcus’ “rakish” behavior, he seems intent on getting to know Violet more. We expect to see more interaction between Violet and Marcus in part two.

Francesca to marry John Stirling

Despite having her choice of suitors, Francesca may have the luxury of a love match as she is head over heels for John Stirling, the Earl of  Kilmartin.

Francesca spurning the Queen’s choice of a suitor may shock the monarch. It wouldn’t be surprising if she tried interfering with John Stirling’s courting of Francesca.

Anthony and Kate become pregnant?

Taking every opportunity to enjoy their lives as a newlywed couple, at this rate, it won’t be long before Kate announces that she’s pregnant.

Eloise or Benedict to find love next?

Book fans will already know that the third Bridgerton novel, An Offer from a Gentleman, covered the romance of Colin Bridgerton. Still, the series opted to adapt the fourth entry, Romancing Mr. Bridgerton, early.

Considering the series has adapted the books out of order, we could see Colin’s storyline pushed back another season and instead opt for Eloise. We expect the seeds to be sown for the romance we’ll follow in the second half of season 3.
