Lisa Armstrong, the ex-wife of television presenter Ant McPartlin, has thrown shade at her former flames with a scathing post on Instagram.
The Strictly Come Dancing makeup artist, 48, rarely shies away from expressing her feelings on social media, and her latest post is no exception.
Taking to Instagram this past Sunday (December 29), Armstrong’s fiery message was crystal clear. She penned: “Cheers to the people who love us, the losers who lost us, and the lucky b******s who get to meet us.”
This bold declaration seems to take a direct swipe at her famous ex, following their split and his subsequent marriage to his former assistant Anne-Marie Corbett in 2021. But the makeup guru didn’t just stop with a dig at her past relationships.
She also shared a motivational quote that reflects her journey through a challenging year and her hopes for the future. Armstrong added: “You spent 2024 in survival mode. 2025 is your time to rise, rebuild, and thrive”.

Meanwhile, the I’m A Celeb host and his wife Anne-Marie celebrated the arrival of their first child together in May, a son named Wilder. The 49-year-old shared his euphoria and a glimpse of fatherhood on social media with a heartfelt announcement: “Welcome to the family.
“Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess.” Despite their complicated past, Armstrong has occasionally shown support for McPartlin’s professional endeavours.
She notably liked a social media post commemorating the conclusion of McPartlin and Dec’s long-running show, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, which was described as celebrating the duo who are “simply the best” after a landmark 20-year stint on air.
Sources close to Armstrong suggest she is finding her footing after a tumultuous few years. Speaking to OK!, an insider shared insights into her emotional state: “Lisa knows Ant is ready to move on with the next chapter of his life – she doesn’t want to be angry anymore.

It comes after Lisa introduced a new member of her family in an adorable Instagram post on Friday (December 27). She gushed: ‘I can’t wait to meet you,’ as she posed a slew of heartwarming images of her newborn great nephew.
The brunette beauty has been a makeup artist on Strictly for 17 years, and is responsible for some of the show’s most iconic looks. Ant, who has just come back from Australia after hosting I’m A Celeb, and Lisa, split six years ago.
