If there’s one thing taking over our TikTok FYPs right now, it’s the incredibly tense/romantic/steamy scenes from Prime Video’s new series My Lady Jane. In particular the scenes between Lady Jane (Emily Bader) and Lord Guildford (Edward Bluemel), which have permanently altered the chemistry of our brains, and have been played on a loop thanks to a thousand different fan cams.

In reality Edward is in a relationship with the incredible comedian Mary Beth Barone. The pair are believed to have been dating since 2021 and from the looks of their Instagram posts seem to be very loved up.
Edward gave a hint at the pair’s romantic start, when he posted on Instagram last year on Valentine’s Day and his caption seemed to suggest their relationship began, as all good relationships do, with a message in the DMs.
In a post he wrote: “using valentines day as an excuse to remind you that with the right DM you can also be the reason an American comedian you saw on Instagram knows what ‘Debenhams’ is ❤️.”

Who is Mary Beth Barone?
Mary Beth Barone, is a comedian who had her late night TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in 2021 and has also supported Chelsea Handler and Jenny Slate on tour.
You might best know her for her incredibly successful show Drag His Ass which she created in 2019 following her goal to go 100 days without f**kboys. The show was later adapted into a digital series with Comedy Central.
