Based on the book Every Summer After by Carley Fortune, Amazon Prime Video’s brand-new drama, Every Year After, follows Persephone “Percy” Fraser (Sadie Soverall) and Sam Florek (Matt Cornett) as their relationship blooms from childhood friends to lovers. Told over the course of six summers, the story shows them encountering love, heartbreak, and everything in between.

Because the show is already receiving so much hype, it is only fair to want to know what the future holds for it.
Is Every Year After getting a season 2?
As of right now, Every Year After hasn’t been renewed for season 2.
While it’ll likely be some time before we learn the show’s fate, showrunner Amy B. Harris teased to Entertainment Weekly that if the show got picked up for another season, the installment would focus on Charlie, Sam’s older brother. His love story is depicted in the book One Golden Summer.
“I really see this as a series,” she told the outlet in an interview published on June 5. “It’s why we built it the way we did, so that we can come back and explore a lot more romance … I see five seasons.”

She’s also not concerned they’ll run out of material.
“Even if you end up in a happy relationship, relationships are a lot of work, and they don’t come easily,” she added. “And I think that’s also interesting to explore. I think Barry’s Bay has a lot more story to tell.”
