Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City-based steakhouse has a formal dress code, unless its owners are on the field.

The restaurant requests that customers wear business casual or dressy evening wear, according to the 1587 Prime website. To maintain “a sophisticated environment,” guests are asked not to wear items like ballcaps, athletic wear, sports apparel and shorts.

But, per the Kansas City Chiefs teammates’ restaurant’s rules, “Chiefs sports attire is acceptable on game days.”

The steakhouse, called 1587 Prime for both Mahomes and Kelce’s jersey numbers, is full of references to the NFL team, and to the players’ loved ones. Doors officially opened for the Kansas City eatery on Sept. 17.

The football-inspiration starts at the narrow tunnel-like entrance, which is said to emulate players’ walk into an NFL stadium. But most of the Chiefs references can be found on the restaurant’s food and drink menus.

For example, the Red Sea cocktail is named after the Chiefs’ fandom, which are referred to by the same name, because of the crowds of red jerseys.

The Big Red Wagyu burger is in reference to head coach Andy Reid. Reid’s nickname is “Big Red” because of the red hair and mustache he had when he was younger, according to CNN. Plus, Reid has a well-documented love of cheeseburgers.

The Alchemy cocktail pays homage to Kelce’s fiancée Taylor Swift. The Alchemy could be named after the song on Swift’s album The Tortured Poets Department, which has been widely speculated to reference the tight end. Meanwhile, the Queen B drink is a shoutout to Brittany Mahomes, the Showtime cocktail refers to Patrick’s lifelong nickname and the Big Yeti beverage pays tribute to Kelce’s pickup basketball nickname.
