Lady Whistledown in Real Life Lands Massive Salary, Prompting Exit from Bridgerton – What Does Nicola Coughlan Say?
Nicola Coughlan is tipped to leave Bridgerton soon, but it’s unlikely due to her salary

Reports emerged earlier this week that suggested Irish actress Nicola Coughlan was considering leaving the Netflix sensation Bridgerton.
The Irish actress plays the role of People Featherington in Bridgerton and her character’s love story featured as the main storyline in the most recent season, with some racy scenes in particular getting people talking.
Despite her role in the show becoming more important in the recently released season 3, the Co Galway native might not return after season four comes to an end.
This is due to the fact that Coughlan’s character features less and less in the book that the series is based on as the story progresses, and not due to money, which many have speculated about.
In fact, according to MyWage.org, Coughlan earns just over $1 million dollars a year. It’s unclear whether this is purely from her work on Bridgerton, or whether other projects are included.
This staggering salary is a testament to how in demand the Irish actor is at this point in her career, with some reports suggesting she could even be the next Bond girl.
The incredible amount of money is certainly going to the right person though, as Coughlan recently raised over $2 million for Palestinian children through charity efforts – a cause that is close to her heart.
