The actress celebrates her 55th birthday with a big event in the Hamptons inspired by the Netflix series

“I have laughed, smiled, and even shed some tears. I truly have the best fans in the world. I could never express how moved I am or how incredibly blessed I feel to have all of you in my life.” With these words, Jennifer Lopez reflected on her birthday this past Wednesday, July 24th.

In the images shared on Instagram, the artist appeared smiling in her satin pajamas and wearing a headband with the words “Happy Birthday”. Unmasked and happy, Lopez wanted to thank her fans for all the affection shown on the occasion of her 55th birthday. “It’s hard to believe we’ve spent all this time together. I feel like the same girl who was starting out. Full of energy and feisty, ready to take on the world, but at the same time tender and fragile inside. I feel so much love for you all, you are my greatest gift, you have always been by my side in good times and in tough times. Thank you so much,” she stated.

Days before, the actress had enjoyed a spectacular party inspired by Bridgerton, one of her favorite series. JLo, who has been living in the Hamptons for just over a month, gathered her family and close friends to celebrate this birthday away from Ben Affleck, although she continues to wear her engagement ring.

The protagonist of Atlas organized an original party featuring horses, dances, and a floral setting very similar to what can be seen in the Netflix series. “Dearest Gentle Reader…And a splendid evening was had by all,” Jennifer wrote, in true Lady Whistledown style, to introduce her followers to the party.

For this special occasion, Lopez wore two dresses. The first one was a Victorian-style dress in golden and blue tones, with a corseted bodice, off-the-shoulder straps, a voluminous skirt with embroidered flowers. An original creation that was paired with semi-transparent gloves and a very elaborate updo resembling a crown.

Later on, the artist wore a green dress with an off-shoulder neckline and a body covered in rhinestones that added that special touch. In addition, the chiffon skirt was very airy. A look with which the birthday girl took to the stage to sing several of her songs that delighted the audience.
