27-year-old Jake Paul is currently playing a role in his boxing career. The former social media influencer defeated Mike Perry on July 20, much to the surprise of many. Perry is one of the biggest names in the BKFC but just couldn’t handle the power of ‘The Problem Child’. Paul never shies away from sharing his opinion on multiple topics. But, this time, he shared his opinion on Dana White.
The 54-year-old was recently in the news for his RNC speech, and it seems Paul liked it. During a recent conversation, he said good things about the UFC CEO. Somethin brewin’?
Jake Paul is highly impressed with Dana White after his latest speech
Jed I. Goodman took to his X account, to share Paul’s clip, where he praised the UFC head honcho. Paul in the video said, “His RNC speech, bro, was amazing. Like, we agree on so many things. And I think he has a great side to him and I’m sure we’re be friends, you know, maybe in this life, maybe in a different life. I just want fighters to get paid more.”
Dana White and Jake Paul have never had a very smooth relationship. The pair went back and forth in verbal battles since Paul took up boxing. One of Paul’s biggest problems with White was how he pays his fighters in the UFC. It is believed that the 54-year-old doesn’t pay a good amount of money despite earning huge profits. White, on the other hand, has criticized ‘The Problem Child’ for taking on fights against old rivals.
While there has been a bit of rivalry between the pair, there’s no hatred between the two. But it seems not every rivalry is the same. Since moving to professional boxing, Jake Paul has defeated some big names, including some legendary UFC fighters on the list.
However, he is now eyeing a fight with Conor McGregor next and has openly challenged him.
Jake Paul challenges Conor McGregor for a boxing clash next
Many felt it was a terrible decision when Jake Paul decided to fight Mike Perry. ‘Platinum’ was unbeaten in his last BKFC fights and many considered him the favorite. However, the 27-year-old shocked everyone with his performance and dropped him thrice in the fight, before ending it in the sixth round.
It seems he has now taken a special interest in Conor McGregor. The pair has been going against each other for quite some time now and before the clash, McGregor had few words for ‘The Problem Child’.
‘Mystic Mac’s’ words have not gone well with the former social media influencer and after his win, he responded to the comments. Paul, during the post-fight press conference, said, “And Conor McGregor can say what he wants, but he won’t fight me either. So once I knock out Mike Perry, Conor McGregor let’s run it. But you won’t do it. Because you know what’s gonna happen. You saw what I did to Nate Diaz, who you went toe to toe with. Get in the gym, and start winning fights and then maybe we can have a conversation,”.
The former dual-champion is currently on his road to recovery and has only two fights left in his contract. What happens when he finishes his contract? Do these two settle things once and for all inside a boxing ring? Let us know in the comments below.
