Based on the first three seasons of Bridgerton, it’s evident that once a love story is told, that character fades to the background, and if that’s the case for Eloise, the show already has the perfect character to replace her. The Netflix historical romance TV series, created by Chris Van Dusen, is based on Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton book series and follows the Bridgerton family in London during the early 1800s. Each season focuses on one of the Bridgerton siblings’ romances, with Daphne’s love story transpiring in season 1, Anthony’s in season 2, and Colin’s in season 3.

Eloise, the fifth oldest Bridgerton sibling and the second eldest daughter, made her debut into society during season 2. However, unlike some of her other family members, Eloise didn’t want to get married and was hesitant to make any real connections with eligible suitors (except for Theo Sharpe, but that’s a different story). Eloise has been delaying marriage, but it will happen sooner rater than later, and when it does, one of Eloise’s younger sisters can replace her on the Netflix show.

Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 Ending Explained

Hyacinth Can Be Eloise’s Replacement In Bridgerton

Hyacinth Displays Some Of Eloise’s Character Traits

Florence Hunt as Hyacinth Bridgerton in Bridgerton season 2 episode 2

The first two seasons of Bridgerton didn’t show much of Hyacinth, as she is the youngest Bridgerton sibling. Hyacinth began the series at 10 years old, meaning she is quite far from being introduced into society. However, Florence Hunt’s character started getting more screen time in season 3. Based on her emerging personality, Hyacinth is more similar to Eloise than previously thought, meaning she can replace her older sister after Eloise’s Bridgerton book story plays out on the show.

In Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton novels, Hyacinth is described as smart, witty, confident, and outspoken, and all these traits are starting to appear in her character in the Netflix series. They are also all traits that Eloise has. Of course, Eloise and Hyacinth aren’t completely alike as Hyacinth is eager to find love, while Eloise would rather change the world and attend meetings about women’s rights. Nevertheless, Eloise and Hyacinth’s select shared qualities indicate that once Eloise eventually takes a backseat in Bridgerton, Hyacinth can take her place.

When Will Eloise & Hyacinth Get Their Bridgerton Seasons?

Benedict’s Story Is Probably Next

Simone Ashley as Kate Bridgerton and Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton in Bridgerton season 3, episode 5

Netflix and the Bridgerton producers have yet to confirm which Bridgerton sibling will headline season 4. The choices are between Benedict (whose book comes third in the series, but the show skipped over him to adapt Colin and Penelope’s romance), Eloise, and Francesca. Most believe that Benedict will finally get his chance to shine in the upcoming episodes, but Eloise still might be next. Or, the Netflix series could delay Eloise’s story until season 5 or 6 — anything is possible. Whatever the case, Hyacinth’s book romance will almost definitely come in Bridgerton season 7.
