Rapper, writer, and producerĀ EminemĀ can add another proclamation to his rap sheet: grandfather.
The Detroit rapperās daughter ā Hailie Jade Scott, 29 ā has given birth to a baby boy. Scott is married toĀ Evan McClintock.

The McClintocks started dating in 2016. The two live a mostly private life, although we do know the two were engaged inĀ February 2023Ā and married inĀ May 2024.
The new baby boyās name is Elliot Marshall McClintock. In anĀ Instagram post on April 4, Hailie revealed he was born on March 14, 2025.
The picture of the newborn is captioned, āhappy due date//3 weeks earthside little e.ā
Previously, McClintock posted maternity photos on March 9 that the due date was close.
āSo close to meeting baby boy,ā she wrote with an accompanying blue heart emoji.
Eminem, born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, announced the news of his daughter being pregnant on his āTemporaryā music video. The song is an ode to McClintock nĆ©e Scottās childhood as well as their father-daughter relationship. It also features a nostalgic look at her growing up ā complete with home video footage mixed into the McClintock wedding video.
The end of the video contains a modern day clip of Eminemās daughter gifting him a blue football jersey with the name āGrandpaā stitched on the back. She also hands him a sonogram to even more surprise.
McClintock first shared the sex of the baby on an episode of her podcast āJust A Little Shadyā in October 2024.
Prior to letting the information be known, sheĀ hid her pregnancy at the wedding. McClintockās podcast cohost, Brittany Ednie, was in on the idea and helped cover up the secret.
āShe was, you know, grabbing a drink, not consuming the drink as a responsible parent does,ā Ednie tells listeners in a previousĀ October 2024 episode. āWhenever people were turned around, she would hand me her drink, and I would chug so it looked as if she was continuously drinking throughout that night.ā
