Rotten Tomatoes is the universal site used to tell us how good or bad a show actually is, and so far, Bridgerton hasn’t done too badly on it. The scoring website will either call a show “fresh” or “rotten” and give it an overall percentage rating, based on how the audience enjoyed it, and how critics have scored it.

So, it’s time to take a look at how our favourite Netflix show has done. Are the critics big Anthony and Kate stans? Or did they prefer the classic love story of The Duke and Daphne? Here is the ranking of every season of Bridgerton so far, by its score on Rotten Tomatoes.

4. Season two – 77 per cent

Honestly, I’m a bit shocked by this. I don’t know which season I expected to be last, but it feels like a personal shot to the heart that the love story of Anthony and Kate has been rated a considerable amount lower than the others. Season two of Bridgerton scores just 77 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes.

3. Season three – 87 per cent

Season three tells us the friends to lovers story of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. It’s scored a not bad 87 per cent, but that still only gives it third (well, joint second0 overall. Maybe the mirror scene wasn’t for everyone!

Of course, the critics burn for The Duke and Daphne, and have a soft spot for season one, just like the rest of us. Our first introduction to the world of Regency London and the social season has scored 87 per cent.

1. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story – 95 per cent

By far the best rated Bridgerton season is the prequel spin-off, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 95 per cent. This season focuses on the Queen’s story, sharing her marriage to King George of England, which ushers in an epic love story and transforms high society.
