The make-up artist has revealed her plans to move abroad after the end of her 12-year marriage to the TV star

ANT McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong has revealed her plans for a new life in Los Angeles now the couple’s 12-year marriage has come to an end.

The make-up artist, 42, has vowed to fight for “everything she is owed” in the divorce settlement and is understood to want £50million from the TV star, 42, according to reports.

Lisa has accepted that there is no hope of saving their marriage, according to the Mail On Sunday.

Her change of heart came after The Sun revealed his relationship with personal assistant Anne-Marie Corbett.

The Mail On Sunday understands that Lisa wants £50million for her Stateside move.

This is said to include half of Ant’s £70million fortune, the former couple’s £12million mansion in West London and a slice of his future earnings.

She believes that she is entitled to the hefty figure because she supported her ex-husband when his life began to spiral out of control, culminating in his drink-drive arrest and recent stint in rehab.

Speaking to the Mail On Sunday, a friend said: ‘She has been most loyal to Ant through what has not only been a difficult time for him, but for her also.

“She has been so understanding of his drinking; after all, she put up with two years of hell as she desperately tried to save him from spiralling out of control.

‘So the news of his new girlfriend has left her distraught. She feels utterly wronged in all of this.

“She is doing a fantastic job of holding it together but it’s really, really hard. She feels like she has lost so much but is being so brave.

“As hard as it is, she now needs to start a new life. She felt for a long time that she has lost everything.

“Now she is trying to get through that and her trip to LA is to see what’s out there.

“Fingers crossed for her that she can find herself some brilliant work in the sunshine.”

The revelations come a day after it was exclusively revealed by The Sun that Lisa threw his new girlfriend out of their home before her split with the TV star.

Anne-Marie felt like she was being treated like a skivvy, and tensions boiled over when Ant left rehab last summer and wouldn’t go home.

A friend said: “Lisa snapped. She sacked Anne-Marie, told her to clear up her stuff and leave. They’ve not spoken since.”
