Second note suggests Perth parents planned family tragedy together: reports
Police discovered a second note at a Perth home where a family of four died in a suspected murder-suicide, revealing the parents planned their deaths together.
A second note found at the scene of a suspected double murder-suicide could explain the reasons behind the tragedy, it is reported.
The bodies of Maiwenna Goasdowe, 49, Jarrod Clune, 50, and their teenage sons Leon, 16, and Otis, 14, were found at their Mott Close home in Mosman Park, one of Perthâs most affluent suburbs, on Friday morning.
A person who provided care services for the teenage boys, who are understood to have autism, alerted police about 8am.
Police found the bodies in different parts of the home, as well as a note, and described the deaths as a âdevastating tragedyâ.

WA Today and the Sunday Times have reported the existence of a second letter which indicates planning around the incident, and that the parents decided together to end their lives.
The letter reportedly had details on how the family wanted their finances to be arranged after their deaths.
WA Police has not issued an update on their investigation since Friday when they confirmed the family had no prior reported domestic violence issues and no weapon was used.

Speaking then, Inspector Jessica Securo said officers who attended the scene were in shock.
âItâs not often that our officers come across such a tragic event with this many persons deceased,â she said.
âThatâs why we employ our health and welfare teams, and our police chaplain, to attend the scene as soon as possible, speak to the officers, wrap our arms around them, and make sure they are OK.â

As well as the family of four, three pets â two dogs and a cat â were also found dead at the property.
The West Australian reported the existence of a first note, attached to the door which contained words to the effect of âdonât enterâ and âcall policeâ.
Both teenagers had pre-existing medical conditions, but police did not explain further.
âWe do know that both children experienced significant health challenges,â Detective Inspector Jessica Securo told reporters.
âThe family had engaged with care services but Iâll leave it at that at this stage.â

Ms Goasdowe â who was known as Mai â was born in Morlaix, a small town in France with just over 15,000 residents.
She was part of several online support groups and described her sons as being at the higher end of the autism spectrum.
It is understood the boys attended Christ Church Grammar School, although it is not clear whether they were current students at the school.
The couple purchased their Mosman Park home for $1.4m in 2016. It was recently estimated to be worth more than $3m.
WA Premer Roger Cook said the incident was an âunimaginable tragedyâ.
He added: âThat the lives of two innocent children have been taken is utterly heartbreaking.
âI urge anyone who is struggling to seek help.
âI want to offer my deepest condolences to all those affected and thank the first responders who attended what would have been an incredibly confronting scene.â
