Yes, Brooks and Rae are still together. After Brooksâ April 27 elimination, he flew back home to Maryland, where he and Rae are both from, and theyâve been spending time together in the week since.
Not only did the couple share photos from a night out together on Instagram, but they also posted a new duet video on social media on May 4. In the clip, they sang âCanât Help Falling in Loveâ by Elvis Presley.
Brooks also confirmed on the April 27 episode of American Idol that he and Rae are using the âL word.â

Brooks and Rae met during American Idol auditions in Nashville in the fall of 2025.
