Tragic update in search for teacher Linda Brown, 53, who suddenly vanished while on way to appointment
Cops found the teacher’s car before making a tragic discovery
A TEACHER who mysteriously vanished while en-route to an appointment has been found dead.
Special needs teacher Linda Brown, 53, was reported missing on January 3, sparking an urgent hunt.

Brown, who worked in Chicago, didn’t attend the appointment, heightening the mystery further.
Surveillance video was released which showed her getting out of her blue Honda Civic and walking along a bridge toward Lake Michigan.
Cops turned to the lake and revealed that a body was pulled from the water, as reported by the Chicago Sun Times.
That body has been identified as belonging to Brown.
Brown’s husband, Antwon, last saw her on January 2.
He didn’t suspect anything out of the ordinary.
The couple watched a movie the night before she went missing.
“Everything was fine,” he told the local ABC affiliate WLS-TV.
“Next morning, I woke up, it was like 8:35am, and she was gone.
“No sign of her.
“I thought she went to acupuncture because she goes to acupuncture on Saturdays.”
Antwon grew more concerned after his wife didn’t call him.
“The hours that went past around 1:30, 2 p.m,” he said.
“I’m starting to wonder, like, ‘What’s going on?’
Amid the search efforts, Antwon issued a desperate plea to his wife.
“We love her. We miss her. We want her to come home,” he said.
Her disappearance left family members stunned.
“I was in total shock,” Michael Hannon, a cousin, told the Fox affiliate WFLD.
“It’s not like her at all. She’s a great woman.
“She loves kids and I’m just hoping for the best.”
ributes have been paid to Brown after cops identified the body.
Ex-students said she created a “safe space” in her classroom, as reported by WLS-TV.
