KSI did not back down from the fight but has prior commitments

KSI responds to Jake Paul's challenge after Mike Tyson's health scare

Mike Tyson had to postpone the fight against Jake Paul and as soon as the news spread, the Youtuber turned boxer sent old-time rival KSI sent Paul an interesting proposition to sub in for Tyson but with a few caveats.

Jake Paul has been training for a while to bulk up and configure his style to fight the legendary Mike Tyson and this puts all of that on hold and is looking to see who can sub in, however, it seems that KSI is not available to make it happen.

Paul reached out to KSI due to the weight class he is currently in and while it seemed like a good idea, KSI has prior commitments that prevent him from facing his long-time rival.

Paul shared how the negotiations were going via X “KSI’s coach saying he is over 200 lb right now? So no weight excuses…”Let’s run it for July 20th and then Paul Tyson in October/November.”

In a separate tweet, Paul said: “I just gave KSI and his forehead the opportunity again for July. He said he’s fighting in August. Cool.

“I’m fighting in October/November. February it is, 200 lbs, MSG, NYC. Get it done @MostVpromotions.”

What happened to Mike Tyson?

Last weekend, Mike Tyson had a health scare during a flight that was crossing the country. According to reports, Tyson experienced nausea and dizziness because an ulcer flare-up was bothering him. It all happened just 30 minutes before his plane landed in Los Angeles from Miami.

After he was treated by medical personnel who were waiting for him on the TARMAC, he released a message via X that he was ready to fight Paul, however, it seems that his condition worsened during the following days.

According to medical experts, Mike Tyson needs to treat his ulcer and then train for the July 20th fight.
