America’s Got Talent Season 21 is inching closer to its premiere, and according to judge Mel B, fans are going to want to hold on to their seats for the surprises ahead.

As you may recall, the latest season of the competition show is set to air on June 2, and with it will come a fresh crop of talent, and, of course, Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, Mel B, and Howie Mandel back at the judges’ table.

In an interview with Good Housekeeping, Mel revealed fans have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming season. “We all have two golden buzzers going through to the live shows,” she shared. “And we’re about to all individually call two of the acts each to tell them that they’re going through the live shows.”

And that’s not all. She shared that some surprise guests from her past will also be making an appearance.

“On my home visits, I’ve got Emma and Mel C helping me decide, and then we go into the live shows early August, which I cannot wait for,” Mel said.

So, not only do we get to anticipate which contestants will receive the coveted Golden Buzzer, but there will also be a mini Spice Girls reunion in the mix.

Mel has shared before that she thinks highly of her AGT castmates. “You know, I thought, well, I love working with you guys,” she said last year, after announcing her return to the show after a brief hiatus. But we can’t help but think that having her bandmates along for the ride will make this season a bit sweeter.
