Jonathan portrays Fiyero, a Winkie Prince. Initially, he is Glinda’s love interest but later forms a romantic attachment with Elphaba.

After Elphaba casts a spell to protect him that goes awry, he transforms into a scarecrow. He then assists Elphaba in faking her own death, and they both flee Oz to live happily ever after.

The casting decision has been well-received by fans, with one Reddit user commenting: “So princely! Gorgeous! Masterful! Regal! Intense!”.

Another wrote: “I mean, I’m a fan of Bridgeton, but he was a REVELATION in this role. I might not survive As Long As You’re Mine in Part 2.”
