Initial date had to postponed due to Tyson suffering a health scare
Jake Paul has officially confirmed his upcoming fight with boxing legend Mike Tyson after a decisive stoppage victory over Mike Perry.
Paul forced the referee to call an end to their bout in the sixth round, which had been scheduled as a replacement for the Tyson match due to the former heavyweight champion’s health scare.

In a bold move, Paul has reached out to Tyson to finalize their highly anticipated match. Paul announced that the fight is set for November 15 and will be broadcast live on Netflix.
“Mike Tyson, you’re next big boy,” Paul stated.
“Sign the contract, 15 November on Netflix. 100 percent, it’s happening.”
Paul’s confidence despite injury concerns
Paul revealed that he was dealing with an injury in the lead-up to his fight with Perry. Despite feeling unwell and having a swollen knuckle, he assured fans that these issues would not delay his upcoming bout with Tyson.
“I didn’t feel very good tonight,” Paul admitted.
“I was sick before and my knuckle is swollen. It was basically broken before the fight. It didn’t delay this fight, I’m a warrior!”
Paul expressed both respect and determination in his statement about Tyson.
“Mike, I love you, but this is my sport now,” Paul said.
“You’re a legend. You’re one of the two most famous boxers to ever live, alongside Muhammad Ali, so I’m honored to share a ring with you. But I want to take your throne.”
Tyson’s health and rescheduled fight
Tyson, who faced a health scare mid-flight, has assured fans that he will resume training soon. In a press release, he expressed gratitude to those involved in rescheduling the fight.
“Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly,” Tyson said.
“I am thankful to the medical staff that treated me and to MVP, Netflix, and AT&T Stadium for working diligently to find the best reschedule date for all parties.”
