She even lies about the extent of her husband’s condition and pushes the narrative that it was Emily’s recklessness that caused the accident.

As Camille becomes more visible in Gabriel’s life, Louise subtly taints Emily’s reputation, framing her daughter as the more viable option to pursue. With the mother-and-daughter plan seemingly successful, Gabriel once again chooses to be with Camille. This then set up the long-awaited Emily and Alfie romance of season 3.
