Hannah Harper revealed that she’ll be opening for Brad Paisley on several dates of his upcoming tour.
The American Idol winner met Paisley when he mentored the Top 20 contestants of Season 24.
Harper also has her own tour dates this summer and fall.
Hannah Harper‘s dreams just keep on coming true! The Season 24 American Idol winner will be touring all summer long, and she just added some new dates to the schedule with a major country music star: Brad Paisley.
The dates will be sprinkled in amid Harper’s String Cheese tour. “Y’all… this is a BIG one,” she wrote on Facebook. “The String Cheese tour is making a few pit stops this year to join the one and only Brad Paisley!”
Harper reflected on meeting Paisley when he mentored her and the other Top 20 contestants on American Idol in Hawaii earlier this year. “He was so encouraging from the very beginning, and I’m incredibly grateful that he believed in what I was doing and saw something special in my music,” Harper added.

The “String Cheese” singer will be joining Paisely on six dates of his tour. Her first stop is in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on August 27, followed by a show in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 28. The next night, she’ll be opening for Paisley in Bangor, Maine.
After a few weeks off, she’ll join the tour again at the end of September for three more shows. First, she’ll be stopping in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, on September 24, followed by West Springfield, Massachusetts, on September 25, and Richmond, Virginia, on September 26.
Harper’s tour schedule currently goes all the way through to mid-November. She’ll be joined on the road by her husband, Devon Mendenhall, and their three children.
In addition to the busy touring schedule, Harper will also be working on new music. “[I have] a good collection of stuff that I’m ready for the world to hear, but also, I’ve only been writing for [about] two years,” she previously revealed to TV Insider. “But a lot has happened in the last two years and I’m ready to share more.”
She also added, “I’m going to try to keep the fire going as long as I can.”
