Father Jarrid Cornwell killed in motorbike crash in Paracombe, Adelaide

The father-of-five’s death has left his family with an ā€˜unimaginable’ loss.

A man who was killed in a horrific motorbike collision in theĀ AdelaideĀ Hills has been remembered as a ā€œgood manā€ who adored his five children.

Jarrid Cornwell, 47, died along with a 31-year-old rider in a crash on Gorge Rd in Paracombe about 2.30pm on Saturday.

One of Cornwell’s daughters, Carli Cornwell, told 7NEWS her father was a ā€œgood manā€ who ā€œloved his family more than anythingā€.

In aĀ fundraiser set up for his family, the father was also remembered as a devoted husband who was taken far too soon.

ā€œHe was the kind of person who lit up every room, always smiling, always bringing laughter and love to those around him,ā€ fundraiser organiser Josephine Grubb said.

ā€œThe loss his family is now facing is unimaginable.ā€

Cornwell was an avid motorbike rider who often shared video of his rides through the Adelaide Hills online.

Paracombe locals told 7NEWS Gorge Rd was a popular stretch of road for motorcyclists but notoriously dangerous.

ā€œWe heard the sirens and we went ā€˜oh no, not another one’,ā€ Tania Brough said.

ā€œSince we’ve been here about six years I’d say (there’s been) about four fatalities. It’s so sad, it’s horrible.ā€

Tributes have been left at the scene of the crash including a message written on road safety barrier reading: ā€œDon’t fear dying, fear not living.ā€

Police are investigating the collision.

It has been aĀ horror Easter long weekend for motorcyclists with several killedĀ on roads across the country.

On Sunday police also confirmed aĀ seven-year-old girl injured in an ATV rolloverĀ in Yattalunga, north of Adelaide, had died in hospital.
