It’s time to get back on your Duolingo grind because Emily in Paris season 4 is almost upon us!! I’m kidding, of course — if Emily can get by with speaking three words of French in ~no trace of~ a French accent, us non French speakers should be just fine watching Netflix’s magnum opus. Call the PR queen uncultured all you want, but my fave fictional millennial entertains me to no end. I kind of adore seeing all of her loud and colorful ensembles, and I live for a juicy love triangle. Oh, to be agonizing over a hot French guy and a hot British guy who both desperately want you… a tough life indeed.

It’s been a while since we binged the masterpiece that is season 3, so let’s do a little prep before diving into season 4 on August 15: Here’s a recap of the Emily in Paris season 3 finale, including details about Camille’s affair and pregnancy, and where Emily stands with Alfie and Gabriel now.

Emily In Paris Season 3 Finale Recap

Is Julien Leaving Agence Grateau?

I fear my favorite Agence Grateau team member is saying “au revoir” to the agency for now… Julien’s been really pissed about Emily getting all the attention at the office. He feels like he isn’t valued or respected enough there, and the Emily interfering with his Turner & Ascot pitch is the nail in the coffin for him. At the end of the season finale, we see Julien sending an email that reads: “I’ve considered your offer. Please don’t discuss with anyone.” Agence Grateau simply won’t be the same without him.

Is Camille Pregnant?

Indeed she is! Gabriel delivers the news to Emily during the last episode season 3, so we haven’t seen Camille say it herself yet. This development is why she and Gabriel felt compelled to rush to the altar — which, of course, didn’t exactly go as planned.

Did Camille And Gabriel Get Married?

After Gabriel gets the pregnancy news from Camille, he tells her and her family that they should just get married right away, and Camille agrees ’cause she feels like she has to. Brilliant idea, Gabriel! Except maybe not. In the midst of their vows exchanging, Camille gets real. “Gabriel, the only reason we’re together is because I knew you were in love with Emily,” she says. “You and Emily have been in love with each other since the moment you met.” Yikes. Naturally, after fucking over her own relationship and Emily and Alfie’s relationship, she then runs away.

Did Camille And Sofia End Up Together?

Surely, Emily isn’t the only reason for Camille’s swift exit at the wedding. You may recall that the French blondie’s been having an affair with her Greek artist friend, Sofia. (One of the best storylines in season 3, I might add.) At the end of the season, Emily is aware of the affair, but Gabriel’s still in the dark. We don’t know where Camille runs to when she abruptly leaves the wedding, but it’s totally possible she runs straight into Sofia’s arms… TBD.

What Happened With Emily And Alfie?

Nothing good, I fear. If I was him, I too would say, “seeya” after hearing Camille’s claims about Emily and Gabriel. “I knew it,” he mutters in the chapel after Camille leaves. “Sorry, but I’m nobody’s second choice, Cooper,” Alfie says to Emily. “Now go and get your man.” Emily desperately cries out, “But you’re my man!” and he replies, “No, I’m not. I don’t think I ever really was.” I have to agree with him on that one. If we’re being honest with ourselves, Alfie deserves a queen who only has eyes for him. (I volunteer as tribute.)

Are Emily And Gabriel Together?

The question on all of our minds! After Camille and Alfie dump Gabriel and Emily, respectively, Gabriel and Emily have a brief convo about what just happened. Gabriel asks if she has feelings for him, and she responds, “They’ve always been there.” Yeah, we knowwww, babe. He’s says that things have “been hard” for him too. I can’t with these people. There seems like a very obvious solution to this angst: Date. But I suppose we’ll just have to wait until season 4 to see if they end up together!
