Kate Makes Shocking Move Toward Beatrice & Eugenie Amid Reports William Plans to Strip His ‘Poison’ Cousins’ Titles After They ‘Trash-Talked’ Him  Princess Beatrice, Kate Middleton, Prince William, Princess Eugenie

Ever since the former Prince Andrew was stripped of his titles, there’s been a lot of interest in not just what he and ex-wife Fergie will do, but also in how all of this affects their two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. And though the two have kept a low profile since the latest drama, there have been reports that William doesn’t want them anywhere near the spotlight.

However, if that’s so, then it seems like Kate Middleton is on a different page. The two sisters have reportedly received invitations to her annual Christmas celebration, royal commentator and broadcaster Neil Sean told Fox News Digital. “Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie received personal invitations for this year’s ‘Together at Christmas’ from Princess Catherine’s office,” he said.

“This is Catherine’s project, and she has the final say — very similar to the way Prince William operates Earthshot,” the royal expert explained. “Above all, yes, the royal family wants to be seen as united amid what has been a very difficult year.”

But will they attend? “This puts the sisters in a very difficult dilemma,” Sean pointed out. “If they don’t attend, it looks like they’re snubbing a prestigious invite. If they do attend, they know there could be a media circus with them at the center of attention.”

Middleton is set to host her fifth annual “Together at Christmas” carol service on December 5th at Westminster Abbey in London. “This year, the service will bring people together to celebrate love in all its forms — whether it’s love within families, through friendships, across communities or through powerful moments of connection with strangers,” People magazine reported.

This attempt to present a united front by the Princess of Wales comes amid reports William is feeling less than generous towards them. The heir to the throne was reportedly upset his father approved a new patronage for Princess Beatrice at the Outward Bound Trust, with Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop reporting that William is “strongly opposed” to his cousins taking on any royal engagement, saying it’s “too soon” and “too risky.”

“William wanted the Yorks out of sight until after the King’s next health review,” a source told the columnist. “But His Majesty insisted—he thinks the family needs to heal in public.” Another source explained, “William’s pragmatic. He knows the Yorks are poison with the public. His father just won’t see it.”

And recent reports about the sisters could explain why William feels this way. The National Examiner recently reported that the two were upset about being used as bargaining chips for their father to give up his own titles and vacate Royal Lodge, to the point that they were “trash-talking” their cousin.

“These bad feelings towards William will do them no good in the long run, but right now, the emotion is running sky-high,” an insider said. “They can’t help themselves. At the end of the day, they’re their parents’ daughters, very headstrong and defiant, and that’s really coming to the fore.”

Yet more family drama or a chance at reconciliation? We’ll have to wait and see.
