The ex-mixed martial arts athlete was surprised by what happened just like her fans

Nowadays it is very common to see a mixed martial star try and compete either in wrestling or boxing, sometimes it is even the other way around. This time everyone saw an encounter that left people scratching their heads in what many times occurs, when a specialist on one discipline or sports tries to be successful in another.

Former UFC star, Paige VanZant got very surprised in Saturday night, when she stepped into the ring for a boxing match and what went down was not expected by her or many of her fans.

VanZant took on OnlyFans mode Elle Brooke in a Misfits boxing match in Houston, Texas. Yes, it is true she has been fighting for most of her life but this time many believed she underestimated her opponent when she found herself in trouble between the ropes.

In the first round, Brooke stunned VanZant with powerful combinations but also with a nasty right hand the ultimately sent her to the floor. Now, her experience did show versus someone that has had a different past in these kinds of disciplines, but at the end the judges determined it was a split draw with no winner announced.

The boxing match ended up being good enough for both fighters, considering they will make profit out of it.

Reactions lead to believe this will not be Paige VanZant’s last boxing match

Based on the end result, there is a possibility that a rematch will eventually happen, something that both boxers would be ok with because both of them would like to see her hand raised as a winner.

“I signed a multi-fight contract for a reason, yeah it looks like we’re going to do it one more time in Dubai.” said Van Zant. “Like I was saying to Paige, we get a big money rematch. This is perfect, said Brooke.

Only time will tell if we see a rematch but both boxers are not against that idea.
