A$AP Rocky shared a hint about the name of his third child with Rihanna during a recent late-night talk show appearance.
A$AP Rocky Teases Baby Name
On Thursday (May 8), the A$AP Mob cofounder made a guest appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers along with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. The appearance came on the heels of Rocky and Wintour serving as co-chairs of the 2025 Met Gala earlier this week. During the chat, Rocky was asked about his newly announced baby with RiRi.
“So your first two kids have ‘R’ names,” Seth says around the 8:45 timestamp of the video below. “Obviously, you and Rihanna have ‘R’ names. Is this a lock that the third will have an ‘R’ name, do you think?”
The rapper, born Rakim Mayers, confirms he will continue the tradition, replying, “For sure.”
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna Announce New Baby
Following speculation that Rihanna is with child, the pop star popped out with a full bun in the oven at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday (May 5). This is the couple’s third child together since they began dating in 2021. They welcomed their first child, a son they named RZA, in 2022. During Rihanna’s performance at the 2023 Super Bowl, she revealed she was pregnant with their second child, Riot, who was born later that year.
Rocky has been getting nothing but good news this year. In February, he was acquitted of shooting A$AP Relli. A couple days later, he was named the creative director at Ray-Ban.
