NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, also known as Shaq, has reportedly decided to purchase another Tesla Inc. Cybertruck instead of shipping his current one from Las Vegas to Atlanta.

What Happened: According to a post shared by Tesla influencer Sawyer Merritt on X, O’Neal expressed his reluctance to ship his existing Cybertruck. Instead, he ordered another.

Shaq stated, “I’m missing my Cybertruck, but I don’t want to ship it from Vegas to Atlanta, so imma just go ahead and buy another one.”

Shaq’s love for the Cybertruck is evident, as he opts to purchase a second vehicle rather than deal with the hassle of transportation, underscoring the popularity and appeal of the Cybertruck among high-profile individuals and celebrities.

Tesla’s official Cybertruck account was quick to react to Shaq missing his truck, saying, “Understandable.”

Why It Matters: The Tesla Cybertruck has become a status symbol among celebrities since its launch in November 2023. The vehicle, first unveiled in 2019, has garnered over one million reservations, making it one of the most anticipated vehicle launches in recent history.
