Every time Rihanna and A$AP Rocky talk about each other, gushes of I want what they have can be heard around the world. The rapper’s latest comment at the 2025 Met Gala is no exception; in fact, it’s sure to make you swoon.

The “LSD” singer was already the man of the hour, as he is serving as a co-chair at tonight’s event. But the spotlight began to shine even brighter on Rocky when it was revealed his longterm girlfriend, the one and only Rihanna, is pregnant with their third child.

Before the 2025 Met Gala even started, Rihanna was making headlines for yet another iconic pregnancy announcement. She debuted her baby bump while arriving at The Carlyle Hotel ahead of the event. The singer glowed in a gray pencil skirt and matching quarter-zip sweater, which she pulled up to display her belly.

In case there was any lingering speculation, Rocky confirmed the rumors on the red carpet. “It feels amazing, you know,” he told reporters who congratulated him, according to AP. “It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we definitely happy, you know.”

The couple is already proud parents to two boys, 3-year-old RZA Athelston Mayers and 1-year old Riot Rose Mayers. Fans will remember the “Diamonds” singer announced her second pregnancy at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show, when she showed off her bump in a bright red jumpsuit. She revealed her first pregnancy after she was spotted with a bump during a casual stroll through New York City.

Rihanna teased that she and Rocky were open to having more children during an April 2024 interview with Interview magazine. “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”

She also took some time to fawn over her man, saying, “When someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling. I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.”

She got mushy during a March 2023 interview with British Vogue, too. “We’re best friends with a baby,” she said. “We have to be on the same page, but we’ve always kind of had that in our relationship. Everything changes when you have a baby but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer.”
