The Prince and Princess of Wales paid a visit to primary schools on Tuesday
Prince William and Kate Middleton paid an emotional visit to Southport on Tuesday.
The Prince and Princess of Wales showed support for the families affected by last summer’s fatal knife attack.
In July 2024, three young girls – Bebe King, Alice da Silva Aguiar, and Elsie Dot Stancombe – were attacked and killed in a mass stabbing at a dance studio in Southport. Axel Rudakubana, then 17, killed the three children and injured several others at the Taylor Swift-themed dance workshop. In January, Rudakubana was sentenced to a minimum of 52 years in prison.
The Prince of Wales, 43, gave a speech on Tuesday after he and Kate looked at a playground built in memory of the victims.

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s sweet moment in Southport
After William gave his speech, he was applauded by the school children and teachers listening. He then moved away from the podium and stood next to his wife, who smiled and clapped.
In a clip shared on X by a royal fan, the Princess of Wales, 43, was seen leaning over and whispering something to William.
Their love for each other is so precious and sincere.
William replied before the pair turned back to look at the crowd, both smiling.
Alongside the sweet video of the couple’s interaction, the fan wrote: “This video of the Prince and Princess of Wales today,” followed by a heart-eyes emoji.

During their visit to two primary schools in Southport, William and Kate were seen interacting with the children and members of staff.

The Prince and Princess of Wales visited Churchtown Primary School, which was attended by Bebe and Alice.
They also paid a visit to Farnborough Road Infant and Junior School, which was attended by Elsie.
One pupil spoke to ITV News after meeting William and Kate. The 10-year-old said: “We were all very nervous. We talked about what our favourite lessons were.

“[Prince William] said he wasn’t good at maths, but said it’s a good subject to learn.”
During his speech, Prince William told the grieving parents of the little girls: “We will always be here to support you.”
