Nicole Kidman addressed her recent split from Keith Urban in a new interview.

“What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward,” she said. “That’s that.”

Kidman and Urban finalized their divorce in January 2026, after nearly two decades of marriage.

Nicole Kidman is opening up about her personal life. The 58-year-old actress spoke about her recent divorce from Keith Urban, 58, in a new interview with Variety.

“I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” the Babygirl star said in her first comments since their split. “What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”

Kidman and the Grammy-winning country star share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15.

And Kidman has long spoken highly of their daughters. “I love teenage girls,” she told Elle. “I just find them exquisite. I marvel at that age group and what they’re dealing with, but also their ability to handle so much.”

She also discussed the importance of maintaining close relationships in her life.

“I have a very full life with people that I love,” she said. “I’m raising daughters…I’m a best friend. I’m a sister, I’m an aunt. I have deeply intimate relationships with people. And that, to me, is the meaning of life—and then taking care of what we leave behind, who we leave behind and how we do that, and our sense of respect for that.”
