Many people have come to MrBeast’s defense after Rosanna Pansino recently released an alleged document from the YouTuber’s company. A clip of Pansino discussing the hiring practices mentioned in the document has garnered a lot of attention on social media after it was reposted on websites like X.
In essence, Pansino cast aspersions on MrBeast for seemingly categorizing his employees into three tiers, only elevating those he thinks are exceptional at their jobs and indicating the need for the more average workers to be transitioned out of his company.
While Rosanna Pansino was critical of this system, many X users came to MrBeast’s defense for his supposed comments about favoring “A-players” over “B-players” and “C-players.”
Here are some of the reactions to a clip featuring the unverified document posted by @DramaAlert.
“I’m not sure what’s wrong with this. It’s true and is used more than just his company!,” commented X user @BenHoopes.
“I’m so confused… how is wanting to hire only the best employees controversial???,” wondered @BradHeat.
“Jimmy is spot on here! this is a winning mentality. C players can go work on baking channels,” said @peplius
It should be noted that some users had negative reactions to what was written in the alleged document. A few cited the recent controversies surrounding MrBeast’s employees and friends while commenting on his company’s hiring practices:
“Whatever the matter, Mr Beast knows he has a lot of cleaning up to do, whether he starts with himself or others around him is up to him. He needs to fix this,” claimed @ALadyInKuwait.
“Who’s to say all of the A’s are his friends? I’ve got a feeling he’s going to need to be trimming them as well from the looks of things,” stated @ishkabubbles.
“Because it’s obvious that they’re only Yes men which lead to the entire mrbeast situation,” replied @RealKilljoyTV in response to a comment defending the YouTuber.
What does the alleged document on Rosanna Pansino’s recent video about MrBeast’s hiring practices say?
On August 13, 2024, Rosanna Pansino released a video on her channel claiming she had come in possession of a document authored by MrBeast. While she discussed many things in the video, the YouTuber’s alleged categorization of his employees gained the most attention.
Pansino started by claiming that MrBeast divides his workers into three tiers. The relevant portion of the document reads:
“You’re either an A-player, B-player, or C-player. There is only room in the company for A-players. A-players are obsessive, learn from mistakes, coachable, intelligent, don’t make excuses, believe in YouTube, see the value of this company, and are the best goddamn in the world at their job.”
While the document claims B-players can be coached to become A-players, it recommends C-players be let go because they are not exceptional:
“C-players are just average employees. They don’t suck but they aren’t exceptional at what they do. They just exist, do whatever, and get a paycheck. They aren’t obsessive. C-Players are poisonous and should be transitioned to a different company IMMEDIATELY.”
Pansino blasted MrBeast after reading this part of the document and claimed the content creator plays favorites:
“He is essentially putting everyone into a system and he definitely plays favorites at his company. Anyone he considers an A-person, those are his close friends, those who behave exactly how he wants them to behave. And then everyone is treated less-than.”
This is not the first time Rosanna Pansino has called out MrBeast. Only a few days ago, she accused the YouTuber of hiring PIs to “investigate” people criticizing him and his company.
