Logan Paul and Bradley Martyn at Zoo Culture after an alleged MMA spar

Youtube star and WWE wrestler Logan Paul has said that he ‘humbled’ bodybuilder Bradley Martyn in an unsanctioned MMA fight yesterday.

The social media duo have been friends for years, but have had various issues over different minor disagreements in that time. Martyn is a notorious troll in the combat sports world, insisting that he could beat elite level UFC fighters in MMA simply because he is particularly big and strong.

Martyn’s infamous insistence that he would beat the likes of Demetrious Johnson or Sean O’Malley has become a meme in combat circles. “But I’m 260, bro,” has become something of a catchphrase as he regularly challenges top MMA fighters.

Logan Paul, who is one of YouTube’s biggest names and the current WWE United States champion, made his way to Los Angeles this week for a series of promotional events. He competed in the Tetris World Championships, and also took part in a $1million challenge with Mr Beast.

During his return to California, Paul made a visit to Martyn’s gym Zoo Culture in Encino after the pair had gone back-and-forth on social media. During a recent podcast appearance, Martyn told the WWE superstar’s best friend Mike Majlak that he was confident he would win if the pair had a MMA fight.

Majlak was baffled, asking him if he “actually believed that”. And when it was suggested that the pair fight a car park where they could do it privately, Martyn insisted that he was interested, with Paul later posting on his Instagram stories “Great, I’m pulling up on you in LA next week.”

After the callout, the trail went silent until Paul’s co-host Majlak shared a video from the Zoo Culture gym showing the pair shirtless after allegedly fighting one another. The social media duo both appeared tired from the ordeal, with Martyn showing light signs of bruising on the back of his head.

“Good s***,” Paul can be heard in the video saying to Martyn as they embrace. “Bro, thanks for letting that happen. Sometimes bro, boys got to be boys, man!” Martyn agreed with the assessment and declared it was “good stuff”.

The video was captioned “so logan and brad just ran a full fade. no cameras. no content. massive respect.” When one fan questioned why neither was bruised, Majlak responded that there was “no blood but you’ll see the bruises for the next week just wait.”

Fans were clamouring for some footage of the heavyweight skirmish, with many making note of the security cameras that were visible in the background. But he said that no such video exists, adding: “Brad unplugged all the cam’s trust me i wanted the video as bad as yall. just some old fashioned s***.”

Martyn has remained relatively quiet on the fight, aside from sharing a cryptic meme to his Instagram story. He shared a commonly used video of someone breaking down the phrase “f*** around and find out.”

Paul replied to Majlak’s video by simply saying “Respect to Brad” in a tweet that was viewed over 1.4million times. But he gave more of a tease of what happened later when he shared a list of achievements from his week.

“This past week,” he wrote, before sharing the following list: “- Shot a commercial for new company – Competed in MrBeast’s video for $1M – Played in the Tetris World Championships – Finished filming a documentary – Humbled a bodybuilder in a fist fight.”
