No, Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll aren’t pregnant, but the country music star and his wife are celebrating what she is dubbing a “huge win” in their vitro fertilization process.
In a video shared to her Instagram on Monday, June 16, the podcast host, 44, revealed that she had a “huge win” after getting a phone call related to her IVF journey.
Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alyssa DeFord, got emotional in a video shared on Instagram on Monday.
“When you just got the call you’ve been waiting on for 5 months since this ivf journey started,” she posted. “All the tears, the hopelessness & the struggle, God finally said, ‘Here.’”
Bunnie Xo clarified she isn’t pregnant, but has taken a big step forward in the process.
“This is not a pregnancy announcement – we won’t announce that,” she said. “This is just a huge win for us.”
It hasn’t been an easy ride.
Earlier this month, Bunnie Xo said side effects of in vitro fertilization treatments were making her reconsider it.
“I’m in medical menopause and it’s f–king hellacious,” she revealed on the “Dumb Blonde” podcast. “It has been the worst thing I’ve ever been through in my life.” She said she was suffering from nausea, cold sweats, blood sugar crashes and pain.
